Rest Day = Catchup & Fixup Anything Day Like all other rest days for us so far, the rest day has been very busy & it gives us a chance to catch up on emails & all the non-flying stuff that we don’t get a chance to do & fix anything that needs fixing.
I woke up today feeling quite lousy & my hunch was right – I had the dreaded urinary tract infection (UTI). This is something people with quadriplegia & paraplegia often get. And when you do, it knocks the crap out of you. I’m glad I’m sick or else I was going soft. Fortunately my doctor […]
Leaving Bairnsdale It was great to spend time with members of the East Gippsland Aero Club who really helped us out. We got down to the Bairnsdale Airfield early & we were ready to leave around 9.30 am. It was great to also meet a talented flyer, Chloe Higgins. At 9 years of age, she […]
Time to leave Hobart It was great to have the rest day yesterday. We got up early today & managed to get down to the Cambridge Airfield by 8am and left by 9am (wow, we were on time for a change). It was so cold that my fingers wouldn’t work – oh hang on, they […]

The association was formed by a group of like minded disabled pilots, and each year they get together to chat about developments in adaptations, aircraft and just do some flying. This year the fly-in was held […]
It’s been awhile since the Easter long weekend when we went for a flying trip, but as you’ll find out in this blog, I’ve had better ones. p>For the Easter weekend, Linda & I flew to Temora for the annual Natfly. We spent Easter Friday checking out aircrafts of all shapes & sizes, salivating over […]
Since the last time I wrote a lot has happened! I’ve been beamed around the world by the Federal Police, the planning for the trip is really starting to shape up, and I asked a lovely lady to marry me. But let’s start from the beginning…
